Suzanne Morgan Williams is the author of a middle grade novel, Bull Rider, upcoming in 2009 from Margaret K. McElderry Books and eleven multi-cultural and historic nonfiction children's books. These include China's Daughters (upcoming 2008), Nevada (Sea to Shining Sea Series), The Inuit, and others. Her book, Pinatas and Smiling Skeletons, co-authored with Zoe Harris, won an Independent Publishers Book Award for multi-cultural nonfiction. Suzanne's research has taken her to the Canadian Arctic, Mexico, and China. She has worked with experts from Indian tribes, Tai Chi masters, and professional bull riders. She shares their stories and her experiences in her presentations. Suzanne's workshop topics include Fact & Fiction: Using Nonfiction Techniques to Create Realistic Fiction, Los Dias de Los Muertos, Chinese Inventions, Latino Biographies, and writing or career workshops.
